Carrie M. Fox – Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Ms. Fox is the former vice president of business development for California Resources Corporation (NYSE: CRC) where her accomplishments included originating and closing multiple midstream/development joint ventures and asset acquisitions/divestitures with counterparties including Benefit Street Partners, Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA), Ares Capital Management, and Colony Capital for more than $2.5 Bn. Prior to joining business development at CRC, she held numerous leadership positions within the asset development and exploitation organizations for Occidental Petroleum (NYSE: OXY). There she also served as California government affairs manager where she analyzed and developed legislative and regulatory strategies. She began her career as a reservoir and operations engineer responsible for assets under primary, secondary, and tertiary recovery mechanisms in the San Joaquin and Los Angeles Basins.
She earned her B.Sc. in engineering from California Polytechnical State University, San Luis Obispo. Career highlights include representing Oxy in the API’s inaugural “Women in the Oil and Gas Industry” program in Washington D.C. in 2009, being a former director of Elk Hills Power, LLC, and her 2020 selection for Hart Energy’s “40 under 40”.
Ms. Fox is currently chief financial officer for Driltek, Inc. and serves on the board of directors for Extraction Oil and Gas (NYSE: XOG).
